Before you apply, take time to learn about the EB-3 visa process.

Step 1
- Visit our EB-3 Jobs List and apply for an available position.
- Upload an updated resume that includes your photo with your application.
- Positions marked “Coming Soon” are not yet open for applications.
- Check our website regularly for updates.
Step 2
During your application process, you will receive an agreement.
Read the agreement carefully. When you are ready to move forward, sign it and return it to us.
You will then receive an invitation to schedule your pre-screen. Pre-screen sessions are group calls offered at set times. Please be flexible when choosing a session.
Step 3
Meet with our Talent Team on Zoom to review your application.
We will also assess your English conversation skills.
English proficiency is required for most positions.
Step 4
If you are selected after the pre-screen, we will invite you to a Zoom interview with our Talent Team.
During this interview, we will:
- Review the program details.
- Explain the process and payment schedule.
- Answer your questions.
- Determine whether you are ready to begin.
Step 5
After successfully completing your initial interview, you will be invited to the employer interview.
You will meet your potential employer and introduce yourself.
After the interview, we will let you know whether you have been selected.
Step 6
If you are selected, we will send you an offer letter from the employer.
Review the letter, sign it, and return it to us.
If you are not selected, we will provide you with alternative options.
Step 7
After we receive your signed offer letter, we will set up your client account at eb3.work.
Through your account, you can:
- Check your case status at any time.
- Complete your information questionnaire.
- Upload the required documents.
- View your invoices in the billing tab.
- Pay your first installment.
Step 8
PERM is the employer’s application for labor certification through the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL).
During this stage:
- Your PERM Labor Certification petition will be prepared and emailed to you for review.
- You will check that your name, address, and other information are correct.
- The PERM petition will be filed with the DOL (Department of Labor).
- You will receive a case number to help track your application on the DOL website.
- Your second installment will be due. We will add the invoice to your account.
Your priority date is the date the DOL receives your PERM petition. This date helps determine your place in line for an immigrant visa.
Processing times vary. Once your PERM application is approved, your case can move to the next stage.
Step 9
The I-140 petition is the employer’s immigrant petition filed with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
After PERM approval:
- Your I-140 petition will be prepared.
- You will receive a draft to review your name, address, and other information.
- Your third and fourth installments will be due. We will add the invoices to your account.
After the I-140 is filed:
- USCIS will issue a receipt notice with your case number.
- You can use this number to check your petition’s status.
- Processing times vary.
Premium Processing is an optional service that speeds up USCIS review of the I-140 petition. It does not shorten the wait for an available immigrant visa.
After I-140 approval:
- For Consular Processing, we will add your fifth and final installment invoice to your account.
- For Adjustment of Status, we will add your final installment invoice when your priority date becomes current.
Step 10
The next stage depends on your location and eligibility.
Adjustment of Status (AOS)
AOS stands for Adjustment of Status. AOS allows eligible applicants who are already in the United States to apply for a Green Card without leaving the country. Adjustment of Status is used if you are in the U.S. and have legal status on a temporary visa (such as F-1, F-2, H-4, H-2B).
- Once your priority date is current (according to the visa bulletin), we will prepare and file your AOS petition with USCIS.
- If you have dependents, they will apply for AOS at the same time.
- You can apply for a temporary work permit with the AOS filing.
Consular Processing (CP)
CP stands for Consular Processing. Consular Processing is used if you are outside the U.S. when your priority date is current.
- The first step is filing the DS-260 with the NVC (National Visa Center).
- The DS-260 filing usually happens shortly after the I-140 is approved.
- Once your priority date is current, we will receive your Consular Interview Appointment Date.
- You will do the required Medical Exam at this time.
Step 11
If you apply through Adjustment of Status:
You become a U.S. permanent resident when USCIS approves your AOS application.
If you apply through Consular Processing:
If your visa is approved, an immigrant visa will be placed in your passport.
You must travel to the United States before the expiration date printed on your visa.
The visa is usually valid for up to six months.
You become a U.S. permanent resident when you enter the United States and are admitted with your immigrant visa.
Step 12
Once you become a U.S. permanent resident, you can begin working for your EB-3 employer.
